Welcome to our first News Highlights of 2026.
Things are looking a little different this edition: We’re making changes so the news you get is more up-to-date, and in an easier-to-read format. I.e. A brief email update each month, with articles also published to our website.
Some of this work is still underway and we also hope to seek your feedback along the way.
You may have seen news coverage about the extreme rainfall event Tauranga experienced last week and the landslips which tragically claimed several lives. The local community has certainly been affected, and we pray for God’s comfort. It has been heartening to see Christians among those who are seeking to support the recovery workers and those affected on the front line.
