The South Pacific Bible College exists to transform lives through the inspiration of God’s Word, to multiply Christ-Followers in the World.
Our mission is modelled on the
following scripture:
“And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.”
– 2 Timothy 2:2 –
SPBC Goals and Objectives
Five key goals and objectives help focus our efforts toward the mission.
Biblical Instruction
SPBC seeks to provide instruction and training for men and women from all walks of life who desire to build their lives and service on the firm foundation of God’s Word, and to enable them to reason from the Scriptures.
Relevant Scholarship
To provide for New Zealand, Australia, the South Pacific and beyond, an institute of academic excellence which holds forth the Scriptures as the inspired Word of God.
Spiritual Growth
To cultivate and foster true discipleship and fellowship so one may truly say:
“It is no longer I that lives, but Christ lives in me”.
Ministry Skills
To teach and train men and women to be effective ministers, Bible teachers, evangelists, personal workers and examples at home, in the community and beyond.
Personal & Interpersonal
To provide opportunities for students to develop well-adjusted, Christ-centred lives.
