Community Connections

Stepping outside of the day’s busy-ness to pause and meditate on God’s Word with a Lectio Divina during a recent Community Time.

Community Time

Starting this quarter, we’ve begun Community Time three times a week – and the invitation is open! From prayer to praise, conversation and study, this is a time to explore, grow, and pursue God together. It’s open to staff, students, as well as others who seek to join.

A link is available on our Facebook page or by request to office, and we hope you can join us in person or online for a session soon!

Visitors

At the start of the month, we enjoyed a visit from Kendon & Faith Murrell, and Ben and Sada Knowles from Memorial Road Church of Christ in Oklahoma this week, pictured here with SPBC’s Steve Raine and Leon O’Flynn.

Memorial Road support a number of individuals and ministries operating in New Zealand, through which SPBC, its students, and many many more have benefited greatly. Kendon is also involved in the ‘HIM’ (Helpers in Missions) program, which sends young graduates around the world to serve in Missions roles. It was great to connect and mutually share our efforts to further God’s Kingdom in our respective regions!
