Classes Kick Off: Welcome to our New Students!

The online chaplaincy intro session gathered new and continuing students, alumni, faculty, and staff.

Classes have kicked off! On 9 February we welcomed eleven new students into our Certificate in Chaplaincy and Diploma in Christian Studies* programmes.

Our online chaplaincy intro session gathered new and continuing students, alumni, faculty, and staff: It was fantastic to hear each person’s story and how they were drawn to studying chaplaincy, or how they’ve been using it since.

For some, it’s about professional development in their formal chaplaincy roles. Others were noticing how they’ve been drawn into people-helping spaces and want to get equipped for these opportunities.

In this group alone, we’re seeing chaplaincy skills brought to bear in:
– universities
– the military
– hospitals
– church ministries
– the music industry
– community settings
– mental health spaces
– prisons
– and more.

Adding to the excitement, a number of our new recruits have been referred by alumni: We want to thank these past students for giving us the best feedback we can hope for!

We warmly welcome this intake, and are excited to journey together. We pray God will continue His amazing work in each of them, as they grow in skills and confidence to do the good work He has prepared.
