Admissions

Admission is extended to all men and women of any background who are serious in their intent to “study to show themselves approved unto God, workmen who need not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15). The college warmly welcomes both full and part-time students whether they are single, married, young or old. Each applicant must be able to satisfy the college that he or she is:

  • of good moral character and in agreement with the special Christian character of the South Pacific Bible College.
  • proficient in the English language. Click here for an explanation of English requirements.
  • able to work at an academic level equal to levels 4 and 5 on the NZQA Framework or higher. (A full description can be found on the NZQA website).
  • To make sure applicants meet these requirements, we may use personal interviews, documentation, examination and written testimonials, or referrals.

Applicants must complete and sign an Admissions Application form, available from the Administration Office, approximately three months before the earliest possible entry date.

We may request more information during the enrolment process, if needed. When enrolment requirements have been processed, we will advise students in writing of their acceptance.

The right of admission is at the sole discretion of the Administration or their representatives. In addition, admissions into the Diploma in Christian Ministry Programme will require students to sign contractual agreements with the supervisors and churches with whom they will be working.
